The last survivor of Mars, J'onn was accidentally teleported to Earth by a scientist, who died of a heart attack upon seeing the Martian. J'onn was forced to adapt to Earth on his own. He eventually became a detective as well as a member of the Justice League. |

J'onn's greatest strength is his telepathic ability, but he has a myriad of powers. J'onn can shapeshift (and change color), fly, turn invisible and phase through objects. His one weakness is fire, the sight of which often immobilizes him with fear. |
Modern Manhunter
 
It's been only a month since the launch of the new Martian Manhunter miniseries, but Snowblind already has the new Manhunter look prepped for JLH. The colors and cape are a good match.
True Form
 
No, that's not a conehead, it's what the Martian Manhunter really looks like. He keeps his big brain in that elongated skull, which he normally alters with his shapeshifting powers so he looks a little more human.
