“Tron,” Walt Disney Pictures’ 1982 film, gave the world a view of a video game come to life while the Tron and Discs of Tron arcade
games captured the imagination of the first gamer generation. With the release of Discs of Tron for the Xbox 360™ video game and
entertainment system, available exclusively via Xbox LIVE® Arcade, players can re-live the popular 1983 arcade sequel to the original
Tron arcade game to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the film’s release.
In Discs of Tron, players fight Sark, the defender of Master Control Program, in one-on-one battles featuring energy-charged discs in a
futuristic arena. The goal is to attack and deflect Sark’s discs while avoiding being “derezzed.” Players use the environment by
ricocheting shots at Sark.
Retro gamers and those new to the Tron franchise can also enjoy the futuristic adventures of Discs of Tron via online multiplayer
modes, including co-op and competitive play, and compare scores on Xbox LIVE Arcade leaderboards.
